Be aware that a traditional martial arts school places a big emphasis on responsibility, self-control, and discipline, rather than confrontation attitudes and force, and so do not be hesitant to enrol your kids in martial arts. Martial arts improve a child’s self confidence, and be able to learn self defence skills that are practical while at the same time have fun in doing the activities that help them develop their flexibility, fitness and agility.
Having your kids enrolled in swimming lessons is another great idea. In the first place, the ability to swim is an important life skill that could save your kids’ life if something happens while in the water.
